THE STORY:

My teeth have taken the beating of chemotherapy related side effects from battling breast cancer. Originally diagnosed in 2007 at the age of 32 and then re-diagnosed at age 39 in 2013, I was required to undergo 13 separate surgeries. Those surgeries included a double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, Full Lymph Node Removal, as well as various other surgeries to correct infection related difficulties and scar tissue removal. I originally underwent 9 months of chemotherapy in 2007 and then another 5 months of chemotherapy in 2013. I also completed 7 weeks of daily radiation treatments in April of 2014. My teeth are discolored, chipped, and broken down due the effects of this cancer treatment - dry mouth, mouth sores, blisters, and chemotherapy induced brittleness. I am in need of funds to support my efforts of having them fixed and obtaining a dentist that will make my smile beautiful. I want a smile on the outside that matches the beauty, love, and strength I have on the inside. Funds will be used to pay for the expensive cost of dental and cosmetic services needed to make this life mission complete.
