Saving pets takes money. As the largest nonprofit spay and neuter animal welfare organization in California, our vision is to ensure that spay, neuter and veterinary wellness services are affordable and accessible to all pet owners in the Los Angeles area and to create an environment in which animal shelters no longer euthanize healthy pets. 150,000 cats and dogs will have been spayed and neutered at SNP LA before the end of this year — preventing millions of pets from being born into homelessness.
Here's how your donation helps:
$1,000: Neuters 9 large breed dogs, preventing countless unwanted litters and euthanasia.
$500: Neuters 11 cats, dramatically increasing the odds that they won’t stray looking for a mate.
$250: Helps 10 Good Samaritans get 10 community (un-owned) cats spayed or neutered.
$100: Spays 1 rescue dog, vastly improving its chances of getting adopted.
$35: Spays 1 cat, preventing countless litters of kittens from adding to the overwhelming 70% of cats turned into animal shelters that are euthanized.
$15: Vaccinates 1 pet, helping prevent disease and help this pet live a longer, healthier, happier life.
We are competing with clinics from around the country for over $100,000 in grants toward innovative programs that help keep pets out of animal shelters in our community. Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge and SNP LA are committed to delivering practical solutions that ensure the health and safety of dogs and cats everywhere.
Everything launches on Monday, May 4th at 12:00pm ET and runs through Friday, June 5th at 1:59:59pm ET.
- The team that raises the most during the Challenge wins a $50,000 donation
- Second place gets $20,000
- Third gets $10,000
