Special Opportunities for Advanced Rehabilitation, S.O.A.R, is a non-profit foundation designed to help provide athletic and recreational activities for amputees of all ages. The golf outing is S.O.A.R.’s primary fund raising event for the coming year’s expenses. S.O.A.R. is run completely by volunteers allowing 100% of funds to go directly to the amputees and the programs we run.
Our 22nd annual S.O.A.R. golf outing will be at Katke-Cousins Golf Course at Oakland University. The outing is a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. with a scramble format, box lunch at the turn, followed by an hors d’oeuvre get together. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., so come early and hit balls on the driving range.
