Soccer Jerseys for Park Hall Youth Club
Organized by: Jonanne Hammer
My brother, Ben, is a Peace Corps Volunteer in Park Hall, Jamaica. He is working with the Park Hall Youth Club to provide skills training and sporting opportunities in an area where there isn't much opportunity for higher education or finding jobs. He is working hard to help improve the lives of the young people in his community. A part of this includes forming a soccer team to participate in regional and national events. They recently played in their first tournament and made it to the knock out round, losing on penalty shots! They hope to continue to improve and advance further in future tournaments. They were one of the few clubs in the tournament that did not have jerseys to identify them as a team. In an effort to build team identity they are attempting to fundraise to purchase uniforms. He is asking for your help as there is a very limited amount of disposable income in their community. This is your opportunity to stand proud with this team on the field and to help the Park Hall Youth Club.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the Youth Club to purchase uniforms and soccer equipment.
