We did it!

BENEFITING: VIRGINIA MASON FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: May 30, 2016
I was in a meeting at work, and was struck by yet another amazing thing that the Bailey-Boushay House is doing. They have an ability to evolve and change in accordance with the needs of our community. Click here to learn about them! http://www.baileyboushay.org/bbhandvm Find them on Facebook!
Currently, they are addressing many needs of homeless HIV/AIDS patients in Seattle, but one thing took me by surprise. They need clean, dry socks. Healthy feet are the heart and "sole" for people living on the streets. Bailey has a foot clinic where nurses care for their homeless client's feet. How incredible is that?
I want to get Bailey some socks. They buy packs of 10 for $15.00. They buy both regular and diabetic socks. I'm raising money and dedicating it for this purpose. BBH can buy the socks they need, when they need them. We know what the rainy days of spring can be like in Seattle. Now imagine you can't get dry. Share this please. Forward to your teams, post it on your personal social media sites, forward to friends and family. If you and two friends each chip in $5, that's a pack of socks. I know looking at the big picture can seem so overwhelming. But even our small donations can make a big difference to someone. So please join me in my sock drive!
