BENEFITING: NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MANYU ADVANCEMENT
EVENT DATE: Jun 11, 2016
National Organization for Manyu Advancement (NOMA) is a US based 501(c)3 charitable organization based in the United States of America, with chapters in several states. NOMA has built an IT Center in the heart of Central Africa, in the town of Mamfe, Cameroon to connect rural communities through computer technology and the Internet. Over the years this center has helped to connect several hundred people in rural Africa to the outside world through the power of the Internet. However, the one consistent problem with managing this IT Center is the lack of constant electricity to the city of Mamfe. This means that the computer center can only be run for 1-2 hours a day when electric power is available, and the rest of the time, the IT Center cannot function. Your gift of $50 or more goes directly to give the gift of computers and Internet to a rural community by purchasing solar panels to power this IT Center.
