BENEFITING: Saha Global
Hi everyone! For those who don't know me, my name is Olivia, I am from Portland, OR, and I am a sophomore Poltics Major at Whitman College. I recently accepted an internship this summer with nonprofit, Saha Global. This June, I will have the opportunity to work in Tamale, Ghana.
Saha stood out to me, because it is a grassroots organization doing work that is sustainable. I will be working with women entrepreneurs in Ghana to build solar businesses. Donating to this program isn't just an act of charity, its an investment in a business. It's also an investment that empowers women through business ownership and provides electricity to an area with frequent power outages.
I believe strongly in this program and I am incredibly excited to get started working.
Your donations will fund my team's project costs. The maintenance and operation of these businesses is funded by revenue from the business sales, but the capital necessary to establish them is generated from fundraising activities. As a Field Representative, I am responsible for fundraising $2,950 by May 18th! ONE WEEK AWAY!
If you'd prefer to send a check, please write my name (Olivia Nicholas) in the memo and send it to:
PO Box 225342
San Francisco, CA 94122-5342
The TAX Deal: Saha is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, so all donations are tax-deductible. If you donates through this website, you will receive your receipt automatically. I will email a receipt to who donates offline.
I am also looking for donations towards my plane ticket.
I am happy to accept cash and checks, or feel free to VENMO me: @Olivia-Nicholas.
If you want to know more about what I will be doing in Ghana, Saha, or anything at all, shoot me an email at email@example.com or visit http://sahaglobal.org/
