Poor governance, incompetence, lack of transparency have made powering Pakistan a Mission Impossible. The blackouts lasting for hours are the most ominous sign of the energy crisis in Pakistan. Morover there are areas in Pakistan that are completely in dark, no access to electricity at all that include remote villages and slum areas. Access to roads and provision of electricity, running tap water and gas connections take years for planning and that areas are ignored from a long time. The mission of this project is to provide small portable solar lighting solution to those areas where there is no access to electricity. From this $30,000, we are planning to light up more than 800 houses. Apart from meeting the electricity needs, the major mission of this project is to aware people and government about sustainable solutions to reduce energy and climate crisis.
