Solution Sanctuary Animal Fund Rescue and Justice
Organized by: Carolyn Goyda
This specific fund is targeted at the Solution Sanctuary therapy cats & the retired cats, the Solution Sanctuary radio mascot the radio personality's service dog Star; and the foster care cats that were in the care of the six people that were living at 415 East Ashley in Jefferson City Missouri prior to an illegal SWAT raid which forced the animals outside into the street mingling with neighbors cats and a rather large feral cat colony.
This fund will be used to identify where the animals have gone, who has been collected or been trapped by Animal Control.
And, to obtain the files and photos and medical history AND find out who has been killed who has been injured & who is responsible for those injuries.
We seek to find out who was in the house & who was used to collect the animals. We understand that included what were called "payroll fills" so these were not trained individuals...repeat - these were untrained - not animal rescuers. Animal rescuers and rescue groups and the original owners all offered to put all of the animals that were inside in their proper and personal carriers and cages BUT that was refused and instead a full-blown SWAT assault on a building to supposedly count and check out animal care was performed like a drug enforcement assault.
They admit that some animals were injured during that event and some animals were lost during that even; and some animals have since died since that event - and cruelly and criminally - for weeks animals were boarded alive inside in 100 + heat index without fresh water without food; traumatized terrorized in total darkness on the 1st floor.
This was a huge old 1851 two-story 3000 square foot old plantation mansion divided into four separate apartments & there was no interconnectability especially in the dark - especially for kittens - especially for elderly - animals especially for the Foster Care animals that would have had no experience there.
This house was in the process of being renovated and restored it had been a crack house run by slumlords and on the abandoned house list while people live there and inspectors ignored that fact but launched this insane raid jeopardizing these animals a as an excuse that they were there to rescue them yet the raid was 23 June and as of today there are still animals outside and animals were still found inside till at least August 1st.
They did not care about these animals - they neglectfully criminally illegally unethically used two of the trapped animals during a staged scripted slander piece created weeks after the original assault violating the rights of the people and the animals and the owner and jeopardizing these animals' lives to use them as a prop on an entertainment news piece and then deliberately losing them '"on cue"during he filming eitherdeliberately or through pure incompetence losing them on cue on camera back into the house and then despite the animals being loose the house was reboarded with those two animals one of which, Snowy, clearly had a fresh njury, inside - - and the other animal, Teddy Bear, has not been seen since.
Animal Control has lied about their condition.
Animal Control has lied that the animals were relinquished which is not true.
We urgently seek to get all the video from the newscasts andwe intend to get Justice for these animals and none of these animals will have been hurt and more importantly none of these animals will have died in vain.
We seek Justice for these animals and we want to get a third-party examination and urgently we want to find out where they're at now.
This is a state known for dog fighting and these cats were sold some of them for $10 apiece they could have been used as dog fight bait? we know one of them went to the University of Missouri ? it could have become an autopsy cat, we don't know - or a test kitten.
We don't know because Animal Control will not cooperate with anyone related to the Solution Sanctuary or the original owners of any of the animals.
JCPD Animal Control also will not provide the legal inventory of animals seized , captured , caught, trapped; excetera - which is unethical immoral and illegal.
So we need legal support directed solely for the protection and welfare of the animals.
We also need to provide transportation if they are found. We do believe animals are still lost and at large we would like to safely capture them and get them medical care as needed and get them to a safe location out of that town and county.
We strongly ask for your support. My phone number is 573-353-4350.
Animal Control has refused to cooperate with anyone at the Sanctuary and no one who resided there has been charged with violations despite slanderous newscast to the contrary. The city knew that the people at that Sanctuary were seeking a license to have those cats be therapy cats to work with the autistic, to work with the homeless, to work with PTSD soldiers, and we were going to try to work with those on mental disability and Alzheimer's as well.
These gentle trained domesticated safe animals did not deserve this traumatizing terrifying event. All they had to do is knock on the door they could have come in and met the animals they could have seen what the animals do instead of mocking the concept of "therapy cats" and using the cats as an excuse to shut down something seen as too & different too liberal and too independent for what we were told was a small town even though it is the state capital of the "show me state" Missouri - which unfortunately is the home state of Monsanto & the largest state for puppy mills & the largest state for dog fighting and a shameful state known for catch and kill animal shelters.
Unfortunately the city was totally negtaive toward the Sanctuary - the they were opposed to the Sanctuary setting up an urban garden and our use industrial hemp in the restoration of the building and to make the building a clearinghouse of information about the growing availability of industrial hemp and a center of Alternative Energy Information .
Oddly, The City enforcement group had no problem with a puppy mill two doors down with 50 dogs and one woman for-profit and had no problem that there were drug dealers directly across the street and gun fights in the street and bullet holes the very first week we opened in our own front window - - that didn't bring out a SWAT team - - but the theory that you had kitty cats that you were training to work with autistic kids while restoring an old crack house with Industrial Hemp and trying to set up an urban garden to treat and teach survival and victory gardening - was seen as a dangerous influence in a blighted area full of abandoned houses and boarded-up houses.
The City made a point of saying that a woman in charge could never get that done and they weren't about to let the woman leading the sanctuary even a try without their interference and the gentle animals have been used as an excuse they become collateral damage forgotten and these poor gentle animals some of them are lost some of them have been hurt some of them have been killed others have been distributed and no one knows where and they are hoping that this is swept under the carpet and ignored and that the slander piece will be the only thing people remember which is not going to be the case
we ask for your help
we ask not for the humans we ask for the animals they did not deserve any of this and they deserve justice they deserve follow up to ensure their safety and welfare is assured and those that have died do not do so in vain
