Son loves to Volunteer but need help to let him do it
Organized by: Jennifer Cleric
My son loves to do volunteer work. We love to volunteer at church and he is currently entering HS. We are a small church and they are helping to send him to camps but as he gets older the leadership camps and opportunities not only increase but also begin to cost more. We have reached the point where it is harder to allow him to do this work. He also volunteers for other organizations. He loves to help the local VFW and was asked to teach a class at an upcoming authors convention. His will have an activity for children ranging from 6-12. He has chosen to show them how to make home made hover crafts using supplies that they may have at home. The money raised will go into a fund that will help support any classes, trips, volunteer opportunities, etc that may arise to continue to help him grow as he helps in the community. I tried this once before using the T Shirts site but I admit that I do not have any luck with fundraising. So using this as hopefully a successful Attempt to make sure he can attend his youth leadership camps and continue to volunteer. Anything left after his trips will be handed down as a legacy to another child going through confirmation that needs assistance making sure they are given every opportunity to succeed.
