Our son, Johnny, is engaged to be married to a wonderful young lady, Kayla in August of this year. We couldn't be happier for them! They both met while they were attending Culinary Arts School 4 years ago. They are both Chefs and they love their jobs and are very talented at what they do, however, just starting out they do not make a lot of money. They rent a tiny apartment, paying back student loan debt, car insurance and living expenses leaves them with nothing. The good thing about where Johnny works (The Wyndam Hotel), he does get a 50% discount for getting married there, but they're struggling to pay for it. Kayla's family won't help with any of the expenses (long story). My husband and I have our daughter still living at home that we are helping through Veterinarian Tech School for at least 2 years. We are paying for photographer (my cousin who thankfully threw in engagement pictures at no extra cost) and we're paying for DJ. I will be making bouquets for bridal party, favors and center pieces for tables to help them out. We can't do any more than we already are. I want to see them be able to get married, they are a great couple and they both work hard. I am reaching out for any help we can get for them to be able to have an unforgettable and beautiful wedding day that they don't have to stress about how they are going to pay for it. We truly appreciate any help we can get. We would love to be able to surprise them with the money!
