BENEFITING: GLOBAL FUTURE INSTITUTE

This August I hope to give 100 volunteer hours in an effort to help preserve the incredibley diverse, enormously important, and unfortunately threatened marine ecosystem in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. I will be working for Parque Marino del Pacifico, a socio-environmental project committed to rescuing and rehabilitating marine animals as well as educating the public about Costa Rica's rich wildlife and eco-friendly living. I will also be taking spanish classes five days a week to help better my understanding of Latin American culture as a citizen of the world.
