SoupMobile Church will be the ‘home’ church for the homeless in Dallas, Texas. Yes it will be their very own ‘home’ Church. At SoupMobile Church the homeless will be the ‘Members’ and if you and I attend we will be their ‘Guests.’ A revolutionary concept to be sure but one that we think is long overdue.
The SoupMobile acknowledges that there are many wonderful Churches in the Dallas Metroplex, but if you are homeless you don’t have the transportation to get to them. And let’s face it, if you haven’t had a bath in a week a homeless person might not feel too comfortable visiting a conventional Church. The homeless need their very own ‘home’ Church.
SoupMobile Church is a non-denominational Church Pastored by SoupMobile Pastor Sister Lisa. She says "The homeless will receive the call to Christ every week & the Church will also provide job training, life skills training, counseling & have lots of wholesome activities like picnics & barbecues."
As you can well imagine we will not be able to pass the collection plate at SoupMobile Church. Our homeless members simply do not have any funds. Will you please give prayerful consideration to helping.
The Grand Opening of SoupMobile Church is November 1, 2015.
