Strengthening community is at the heart of everything we do.
At the YMCA, we strive to ensure that everyone has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.
This is why Southern District YMCA has served youth (ages 3 - 15 years) for 90 years at YMCA Camp Lincoln, building character and nurturing potential.
This is why YMCA School Age Child Care currently operates in 15 communities - so that every child can be in a safe place before and after school and during school vacations.
And this is definitely why volunteers and staff worked tirelessly to raise the funds to construct the Exeter Area YMCA, a place where community can come together for health, wellness and connection.
All YMCA programs promote self-confidence, interpersonal relationships, positive values, academic achievements, physical skills and a sense of community in a fun, nurturing environment.
At the Southern District YMCA, we believe all people, regardless of ability to pay, deserve the opportunity to learn and thrive. That is why we raise money every year through donations and events to provide finanical assistance when needed.
