Race to the Top of Vermont to support Special Olympics athletes! Over the past 42 years, Special Olympics has grown from a modest program serving local athletes to become the world’s largest movement dedicated to promoting respect, acceptance, inclusion, and human dignity for people with intellectual disabilities through sports.
Our mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
The Race to the Top of Vermont takes place on Sunday, August 25 and is coordinated by the Catamount Trail Association. Thank you for your support!
