THE STORY:
Dear Friends & Family,
This Saturday, the four of us will be participating in a 5K walk to raise money for School on Wheels. SOW is an amazing organization whose primary purpose is to serve homeless children and youth in the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area (and beyond). They provide tutoring and academic assistance to the most vulnerable populations, including everything from basic school supplies to scholarships for college. For kids living in downtown shelters, the skid row learning center serves as a place for students to hang out, get help with homework, and feel safe.

Every year School on Wheels join forces with the community in walking to raise awareness about homelessness in Los Angeles.
The event is hosted by UnitedWay and is called HomeWalk. Join the largest team representing homeless children and youth, School on Wheels!
