Our nation is in turmoil. Local communities are suffering and violence is on the rise. Recent situations in cities like Dallas, Baton Rouge, Minneapolis, Memphis have gained national negative attention. We are determined that there are better ways to confront the issues of our time without destroying our communities. We can invest in hopes and sow seeds of peace, which will create a platform off from which we can work together to heal our land. #sowpeace was birthed at a community prayer Vigil this past week as we gathered leaders from our community along with community leaders to pray and remember victim's of recent violence. We determined that the only way we can honor the innocent and fallen is to create a legacy of peace. #sowpeace employs leaders (residents) in the community to partner with community leaders i.e. police, fire, ems, teachers, city boards, etc. to conduct random acts of kindness in service to our communities. Random acts such as buying groceries, paying a young man in the community to do someone's lawn, filling someones gas tank when they pull up to the pump. while doing these acts we are handing out #sowpeace t-shirts or wrist bands... we can make a difference and we are seeing a difference and we need your help to help us make statement in Cincinnati that can and will become a template for every city around the world. our media campaign is costly... time is of the essence and lives are being lost everything day we wait.
