BENEFITING: HAITIAN SPORTS FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Jun 29, 2011
Imagine being physically ready to compete in your favorite sport, but not financially ready.
For the first time ever, the Haitian Sports Foundation has several athletes that have qualified for the American Federation of Martial Arts Championship. But due to lack of funding, the 12 young athletes might not be able to travel to the Dominican Republic to compete.
Let’s raise the funds and get these kids to their match in Santo Domingo.
The HSF has already raised enough money to secure Visa’s for each athlete; what’s needed now is financial support for travel, food and lodging and equipment expenses.
The championship begins June 29th and lasts through July 3rd, so time is running out. The kids are ready to compete. They just need the help getting to the venue!
Here’s a breakdown of the costs for each athlete:
Visa Cost $85.00 US
Tournament Entry Fees: $ 25.00 US For One or Two Events
Lodging: $176.00 per person
All contributions are tax deductible!
Please help support this effort by clicking DONATE. Or, you can go even one step further and help us fundraise for this cause by clicking JOIN THE TEAM and share your own project page with your friends and family.
Thank you for your support,
