To my utter astonishment I have learned that there are people in our community, our neighbors in our towns and our counties across our great State who can't feed themselves and their children. My father grew up poor in a small village in Greece wondering everyday where he, his mother and his sisters would find their next meal. This was the depression. It's 2016, the power ball is close to a billion dollars and this is New Jersey. Yet I have learned that good and honest people are struggling to put food on their tables. Most of us are blessed with the many luxuries that life has to offer. Throughout the year we are asked to help many worthy causes. Join me in helping the people in our backyard and donate whatever you can afford to help feed OUR New Jersey friends in need.
