THE STORY:

Glenn Hills high school located in South-Augusta, Georgia, is desperately in need of restructure. The students are deserving of a clean environment to focus and prosper academically. A percentage of these students excel as athletes and are dependent upon scholarships to further their education. Unfortunately, the Richmond County school system has limited funds to provide for the schools to purchase new uniforms for the football team. When athletes enter the playing field, they must possess a sense of pride and dignity. The uniforms are 14 years old. Understandably, they are warped, faded, ripped, and very unattractive. When the athletes enter the playing field, they are not only representing themselves, they are representing the team, the school, and ultimately the community in which they reside. We need our youth to acquire a sense of optimism, academically and athletically, in order to achieve their goals in life. As with a job interview, appearance is the first impression. When you look good it gives you confidence. And with confidence there's inspiration and motivation!!! Please help our students at Glenn Hills High School and give them the opportunity and encouragement needed in order for them to become successful in life. We thank you in advance!!!
