Good Afternoon! By way of introduction my name is Drea Ferrel and I am with Spectrum Concessions and Events, and I am happy to announce that we have been selected to provide concession services for the upcoming Governors Ball at Randall’s Island in New York taking place June 23rd and June 24th 2012! We are looking for groups/organizations to help us make this event a success. So, Spectrum would like to present you with the opportunity to a unique and fun way to raise money. So, what does this mean for you? Well, we will be selling and serving beverages for the event, including beer. Which is where you come in; we need volunteer staff power to make it happen. For your groups/organization’s hard work a commission of the gross net sales from the location you work will be paid to your group/organization. To give you a little background on Spectrum Concessions, we work numerous events across the US and Canada including Golf tournaments and festivals. To name a few of the other festivals we provide concessions for include the Houston Children’s Festival, Dave Matthews Band Caravan and the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee. For all of the events we work we use local organizations to staff our stands as a way for them to raise money. We use different kinds of groups including High School Booster Clubs, Military Groups, and Cheer Teams and Church organizations. The Spectrum Team is excited to be adding the Governors Ball to our list of events, and can’t wait to see the great organizations in the New York area.
