BENEFITING: Spina Bifida Association of America
ORGANIZER: Spina Bifida Association of America
I am lacing up my running shoes and training for another marathon! What makes this challenge so special to me is that I am running in honor of my younger brother Cory. Cory and so many others are born with Spina Bifida. Spina Bifida is a birth defect in which a developing baby's spinal cord fails to develop properly which comes with many complications. I will be running for Team Spina Bifida, Spina Bifida Association’s (SBA) endurance program.
Team Spina Bifida is the SBA athletic program that allows individuals to pick and choose any race across the country and help raise awareness about and funds for the Spina Bifida community. SBA is proud to partner with the New York City Marathon once again in 2017 to help those living with Spina Bifida to lead productive and fulfilling lives.
I invite you to support me as I fundraise for SBA and train for the 2017 TCS New York City Marathon on November 5th, 2017. Outside of training for the 26.2 miles, I have committed to raise $3,000 for SBA. I ask that you send your contribution by race day, November 5th. Any donations that come in after November 5th will still be accepted.
Feel free to pass this along to your friends & family who may also like to donate. I greatly appreciate your support in helping to make a difference!
Thank you so much,
P.S. I encourage you to visit the SBA website and learn about the amazing work they are doing! (http://spinabifidaassociation.org).
