CFG’s focus is to identify and support visionary doctors, medical professionals and researchers and enable them to discover and implement new ideas, techniques and methods to conquer cancer. Additionally, our efforts are geared to support young people and their families who have been impacted by cancer, so they may approach life with renewed strength and optimism. With this dual approach, our objective is to help ensure that the next generation becomes the first cancer free generation.
Tower Cancer Research Foundation (TCRF), a non-profit organization formed in 1996, provides grants for clinical trials, innovative research, caring patient support programs, and community education. Focused primarily in Southern California, TCRF promotes more effective treatments for cancer and blood disorders. In the last decade, TCRF has raised over $25 million dollars. As a leading fundraising organization in Southern California, we seek to fund cutting edge clinical trials which provide patients with expanded treatment options. In addition, each year TCRF awards $100,000 grants to young, innovative physician scientists doing groundbreaking bench-to-bedside research. While there are many brilliant scientists performing cancer research, TCRF recognizes that important breakthroughs have come from unexpected directions and new perspectives. Through your generous donations, we are able to continue to support these scientists early in their careers as their ideas drive new discovery.
