BENEFITING: TOWER CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Dec 08, 2013
Dearest friends and family,
On December 8th, I will be participating in a charity cycling event at Soul Cycle in Beverly Hills to raise money for Cancer Free Generation (CFG), a charitable organization of which I am a firm believer.
CFG is the young leadership division of Tower Cancer Research Foundation (TCRF), a non-profit foundation that was envisioned over a decade ago. It is dedicated to providing grants for innovative research and clinical trials for cancer and blood disorders. Over the past 6 years alone, over $1,500,000 in donations has been awarded to physicians throughout southern California; and just earlier this year, a separate $2,000,000 gift was awarded to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in support of its cancer program. And this represents just a small portion of what has been raised by TCRF to date.
CFG's mission is to continue the outstanding work of TCRF in funding research grants, and this year we hope to additionally fund a summer camp for children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer.
Every little bit helps! I appreciate your considering these endeavors, especially during this holiday season. Much love to you all, and may we continue to help those in need, whatever the cause!
