Spirit Wellness Institute of Massage and Bodywork

“We help the world feel better one student at a time.” This was the mantra of the massage therapy school that I attended 13 years ago, The Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork. And they meant it. Palmer instilled in me a strong foundation of ethically and spiritually bound massage and bodywork skills coupled with a passion for the highest health for humanity. In 2009, after several years in practice I opened Spirit Wellness Massage, in Salem, MA. I have had the honor and privilege of making my living providing massage therapy ever since. What could be better? Well...spreading the art that I love of course!
I have recently been feeling a deep calling to give back. I feel passionately about the world needing more healers. So I want to pay it forward in a big way. I’m opening a new massage therapy school, the Spirit Wellness Institute of Massage and Bodywork, with the guidance of Diane Palmer, former director of The Palmer Institute (how lucky am I that she agreed, no rather jumped at the opportunity to support this endeavor???).
It is the school's mission to provide state of the art education to our students, and to elevate the stature of the alternative health professions. We will achieve this by teaching an innovative curriculum that delivers high quality integrated therapeutic knowledge while instilling our students with a passion for the integrity of our profession.
A sneak peek at our curriculum: Designed to meet State Licensing Requirements and cater to National Certification as well as provide an infostructure that promotes self-empowerment, self-care and personal as well as professional growth for our students.
Spirit Wellness 650 Hour Certification Training Required Foundation Courses: 650 Hours
• Massage Therapy Technique 300 Hours
• Anatomy & Physiology 100 Hours
• Pathology 45 Hours
• Kinesiology 45 Hours

I would be honored to receive your support in this endeavor! It’s a great opportunity to make a difference in the health of our community and to be part of something that matters.
In Good Health,
