~Spirituality begins in the heart of the self. It's human nature to extend the love in our heart and to share and connect with others seeking the light and love that is available to every living soul. So many humans lack a safe, sacred, serenity, retreat, etc. to go to. It's been a long time goal of mine to expand and provide a quiet sacred space. I have hosted many spiritual events, feasts, gatherings, and parties for many years (16 years and counting) and recently moved to the mountains to begin working towards my goal to provide this to a larger community, expanding north in Georgia. I moved to the North GA mountains with the vision in sight to expand the network of the spiritual work we had been doing for so long in an already saturated area in Metro Atlanta. Building came to a halt, however, due to unforseen circumstances which we are slowly recovering from. Over the last year I have continued this journey in planning the future for this project and partaking in outreach meetups. I could not give up on my mission, no matter, the uphill battle, this vision remained strong, and helped keep my hope and spirit alive. :) I began to create a foundation building on my vision that has since then put me in reconnection and full circle spiritually with previous adventures. I would love to integrate paths with others and help support them also in their ventures spiritually. This is what it means to me to set an example and be a leader and facilitator of spiritual nature. There is no right and wrong when it comes to our beliefs, therefore in this journey, I have met and extended fellowship to others that have a set different beliefs than my own. Through my own mentors, this was taught to me, and what I continue to present to others I meet in the communities.
Phase 1 is finishing the building project, which consists of a 16x16 Spiritual Temple, 12x12 connected storage, and 12x12 connected work space. Phase 2 consists of finishing preparing the land which totals approximately 2 acres, minus the 1 acre dedicated to housing and our goat and chicken mini farm. Although this is an ongoing and evolving project, we would like to get phase 1 completed by mid fall, to host a feast to the community and resume our annual Friendsgiving and Solstice feast with friends. These two events I started in 2011 to provide a feast with friends during the holidays for those who were alone without family. This project is just the start of a dream to eventually build housing opportunity in a larger space with spiritual community. If you cannot donate to the project, but would like to offer other resources and donations such as helping with future events, donating your precious time and hands on labor help with construction or landscaping, it would melt my heart and I would forever be grateful. Community is so important for us to have as humans. :) And this is the whole idea behind this project, coming together as a whole community, with our skills, and creating a sacred space for all of us to partake in.
Blessings, Love, and Light.
