Three benevolent guys battle the odds to ride over 1,600 miles for charity - I'm just one little girl trying to support the crusade.
How far would you go? To help a friend? For a family member? For a complete stranger?
Three native Detroiters recently announced their plan to cycle over 1,600 miles – from Detroit to Austin – in order to raise essential funds for three charities, while promoting awareness of worthy issues that are quite frequently overlooked.
“Coming from an underdog town, we naturally gravitate to fellow underdogs. The charities we are sponsoring – Chive Charities, Healing Vercammen Hearts, and Coalition of Dwarf Advocacy (CoDA) – all champion the underdogs by showing their unfaltering determination and rallying a community of overwhelming support. They represent all that we are doing with this ride – enduring hardships over great distances to pull together an amazing community of support and love,” said Dane Wittig, a founding member of Detroit 2 Austin.
