BENEFITING: SPONDYLITIS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA
EVENT DATE: Jul 25, 2015
Spokes Supporting Spondylitis is a fundraising bike event that our local bike group, Manitou Spokes, will be hosting on July 25, 2015. We will be riding to the top of Pikes Peak, which will be a very physically demanding and rewarding ride. All donations and money raised will be given to the Spondylitis Association of America. SAA is the largest non-profit group in the U.S. that dedicates all its resources to fighting spondylitis. Amanda Carroll, one of our group members, was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in November 2012. A huge part of Amanda's ability to maintain mobility and control her symptoms is by staying active. She organized the ride and will be with us riding to the top of the 14, 114 ft. summit of Pikes Peak. There is currently no cure for AS or any spondylitis condition. Please help support SAA and our ride to the top of Pikes Peak!
