EVENT DATE: Oct 10, 2015
The Sprint for Saint Francis NICU is a volunteer-driven charity that supports the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. The NICU provides the most sophisticated care available to sick and/or premature newborns by combining advanced technology with compassionate care. Our runners participate in the Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k events to raise funds for the NICU. Our knitters make hats and blankets for the babies in the NICU. Our first race in 2014 was so successful that we have made it an annual event.

116 items knit for the NICU babies.
