Our mother, Giannina Pianalto, passed away after a very long and difficult battle with lung cancer. During her many-year struggle, we were her primary caregivers along with our aunt.
She lived a short life, but one with a tremendous amount of impact. Regardless of what was going on with her at the time, we knew she was the one light we could all look to - the only one left shining when all other lights around us went out.
In many ways, we loved our mom more than we loved anyone else, and while we'll always be incomplete without her, we'll always walk, one step at time, moving forward, looking at the light she left behind for us to follow.
We're proud to walk on behalf of her, and proud to do it on behalf of Stewart's Caring Place.
