BENEFITING: Front Nine Foundation
EVENT DATE: Jul 29, 2017
Squats for Soldiers is a fundraising event to help raise money for the Front Nine Foundation, with proceeds benefiting Children's Hospital of Illinois, Tee It Up for the Troops, The Family House, The Blaine Robinson Family and SPC Mike Howie.
Participants will challenge their body and mind to perform to a level of fitness that they have not before. Participants who enroll for Squats for Soldiers will sign up for a 5-minute time slot between the time of 8 AM and 12 PM on Saturday, July 29th, at Anytime Fitness North Peoria. The goal is to perform as many squats as possible with your goal weight.
My current goal is 10 reps of 135 lbs. Please consider donating $10 or more ($10 unfortunately is the minimum on this site) to cheer me on and help these worthy causes. You can add in the admin cost or take it out of your donation - totally your call.
The Front Nine Foundation's mission is to provide support to families and children within the Peoria community by helping to offset the financial burden of medical bills and lodging during their time of need.
Tee It Up for the Troops' purpose, here in Peoria, is to raise money to support the Wounded Warriors, for Families of Servicemen and women of Central Illinois who, because of their commitment to serve, have been faced with financial hardship (or challenge).
The Family House, a hospital hospitality house, provides low-cost lodging, meals and other supportive services for the families of patients receiving medical treatment and nursing care in Peoria, Illinois.
Children’s Hospital of Illinois has celebrated over 20 years providing high-quality health care services to pediatric patients of Central Illinois. Children’s Hospital was founded on the belief that no child – regardless of ability to pay – will be denied medical care.
