TRI-CITY EAGLES RUN FOR SPECIAL HOCKEY
October 22, 2014
Laurel, MD - The Tri-City Eagles are proud to announce their second annual fundraising campaign and fun run benefitting two local American Special Hockey Association (ASHA) teams, the Baltimore Saints and Washington Ice Dogs.
"These organizations offer children and adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play ice hockey and reap the benefits that come along with being part of a hockey team within our community."
In 2013, the Eagles donated over $10,000 to ASHA; Funds that helped to offset the costs for ice time, team uniforms and equipment, tournament fees, and other expenses for these players and their families, many of whom otherwise might not have been able to participate.
The Tri-City Eagles 2014 ASHA Dash will be held on Wed, Nov. 19th at The Symphony of Lights, located at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.
Founded in 1993, The Tri-City Eagles Hockey Association is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young individuals develop as athletes, leaders, and members of the community.
For 20 years, The Tri-City Eagles have successfully accomplished this through an elite hockey program that stresses excellence, self-sacrifice and places the needs of the player above all else.
Off-line donations may be made in a form of cash, or check made payable to "Tri-City Eagles Hockey Association." Please notate "ASHA DASH" AND the name of the player you are supporting in the memo field.
