BENEFITING: Boston Health Care For The Homeless Program Inc
Winter in Boston is in full swing, which means the need for new, warm shows is in high demand!
Each year, students at Tufts University School of Medicine organize a shoe drive to collect used shoes to donate to the homeless of Boston who visit the St. Francis House Foot Clinic, a clinic where many students volunteer their time. This year, we wanted take our impact one step further: instead of collecting USED shoes, we are aiming to raise funds to purchase NEW shoes for the homeless in our community.
Will you help us raise $1000 to purchase 50 new pairs of shoes? We have doubled our goal because of the gracious generosity so far- let's make it to 50 pairs of shoes!
The homeless of Boston come to the Foot Clinic for brief rest and relief, while medical students and other volunteers have the privilege to befriend, and also practice preventive medicine with, the visitors.
Any donation, large or small, symbolizes your support of Tufts medical students' efforts to promote overall health and well-being for the people of Boston most in need. Thank you so much for your consideration!
