- A group of eight experienced activists and Legal Observers from St. Louis, MO are going to the Standing Rock, ND Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) resistance camps in November.
- Trained by the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) and active with the Movement for Black Lives regularly for over two years since the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, we are donating our time to be there for a full week. One person in our group has lived at Oceti Sakowin camp in September/October with the Red Owl Legal Collective--the team of attorneys and legal workers coordinating legal defense for those arrested while protesting the DAPL.
