Did you know that in Washtenaw County, MI, only 10% of low-income youth are deemed college-ready based on their ACT scores? A test score shouldn't determine a student's future, but it often does. Kids today have to overcome the challenges they face at school in order to build their careers and futures. One of the best tools a child can have in this pursuit is the support of a mentor.
In less than 4 years, Mentor2Youth has made a difference in more than 400 young people's lives by providing them with meaningful mentorship opportunities. With your help, they'll engage 100 more elementary school students in the Future Leaders Program this year.
Join me in supporting Mentor2Youth and preparing young people in southeastern Michigan to brighten the future for us all. #StandUp4Youth today.
