I was recently selected out of hundreds of applicants for the incredible and prestigious opportunity to be a StartingBloc Fellow! Candidates regularly continue into partnered graduate schools including the Yale School of Management and the London Business School to advance their aspirations of creating social change through innovation.
As a StartingBloc Fellow, since 2003 every fellow has been asked to fundraise $1,000 in order to attend a key step of the program, the Institute for Social Innovation - and that's where you come in!
The StartingBloc Fellowship begins with the Institute for Social Innovation. The Institute is a transformative five-day experience during which emerging global leaders learn to increase their impact, exponentially. This transformative experience is rooted in a blended-value curriculum and presents a Social Innovation Competition (SIC) case challenge, as well as sessions with industry leaders.
The Institute curriculum includes modules on intrapreneurship (working within systems), social entrepreneurship, cross sector partnerships and sustainability. Sessions are led by top academicians, corporate innovators, social entrepreneurs, activists and government officials.
Please help me reach my goal of $1,000 by March 14th, 2013!
Thank you all for supporting this exciting and inspiring project!!
