Starting our own family
Organized by: Tarik Kaddoura
You have no idea how hard it was to click the submit button for this fundraiser. Something about asking a stranger for help makes us feel less of ourselves, but I also know that when able to, most people are kind-hearted and would jump at the opportunity to give. I personally have given my fare share and have helped many in their time of need even if it meant taking a bite out of my mouth to give to someone in need instead.
None of us have cancer and in dire need of help because of deteriorating health, we're healthy and well. No tragedy has struck us to where if we don't receive immediate help, we will be homeless on the street. Our two pets are well and we're not in need of help to cover any medical bills. We have jobs and there isn't a day that passes by without food on our table.
We've done everything to the best that we could. To get our education, My wife and I had to do what a lot of students are forced to do in this country which is take out student loans. Now that we're settled into life and have our jobs, we're quickly finding out that because of the debts we've occurred (from school and living), it's next to impossible to start our own family and buy our own home, our one and only dream. With rent prices as ridiculous and expensive as they are these days, we're living paycheck to paycheck. All the extra money goes towards minimum payments on our loans and debts. We've never taken lavish trips, bought expensive things or spent money recklessly to incur this debt. It just happened from what everyone calls "perusing normal life". We just want to pay off a part of our debts so that we can start our own family semi-comfortably. The amount we've requested $40,000 only covers a part of the debts because it just doesn't feel right asking for it all. We would be very grateful and appreciative of any help we receive no matter how little. If 40,000 people were to help with a $1 each, then they would transform the lives of two complete strangers to the better in the best of ways. Thank you so much for your help and may all your days be filled with happiness and joy!
