Statewide Addiction Treatment reform.
Organized by: Jonathan Holen
The current state of Colorado's addiction treatment is abysmal. Each day there are addicts that are refused treatment due to imporperly filling out paperwork, missing identificaton or an inabilty to pay a 2 dollar copay. Nearly every treatment facility I have visited looks more like a duengon than a sanctuary. Their staff behave more like maurading toturers and executioners than healers and counselors. Thiss horrendeous state of affairs causes more and more addaics to needlessly die each day. The way to change this is to create an independant oversight comission to find and adress these issues one office, one clinic at a time, one day at a time. After this goal Is achieved, addicts will become patients, punitivists will become altruits. Once this project proves its success in state, I INtend to take it natoinally as an NGO.
