Stay in my home.
Organized by: Cynthia Frederic
I am a single mother, a veteran, a Nurse, and a hard worker. I was at my last job for over 10 years and had always had great evaluations. Over the past few years, my disability has gotten worst to the point that I was working from home. As the work I was doing was all computer based, I was still able to work 40 to 60 hours a week. Last year, I was moved to a new manager who didn't like this arrangement and I was forced out of my job. I have since been living very carefully off of my savings. These funds are now gone and I am 30 days out from the start of foreclosure on my home. If I lose my home I will have nowhere to go. I never in my life thought I could end up homeless. This would also make my pets homeless as I would need to find a place that I would take them in with me. I have no family anywhere near me and because children are involve, I can not move away from this area. My father passed away one year before I was let go and my only sibling passed away before that. All I have left is my mother and she is unable to help. I have never asked for help, so this is very difficult for me. I'd much rather be working and supporting my family, as I always have. Any help you can provide will be so greatly appreciated and payed forward. Thank you for your consideration.
