BENEFITING: American Cancer Society
EVENT DATE: Jun 01, 2014
Hi Friends and Family:
This year Chris and I committed to running the Steamboat Springs half marathon and we are running for a purpose. We are running (well sometimes it's more like a slow jog) in memory of those family members we have lost to cancer (Grandmother and Grandfather Cutshall, Grandpa Sam, Aunt Cookie, and Poppy) and in extreme honor of our very dear friend and SURVIVOR Wendy!
In December of 1999, Wendy was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. She has been cancer free since the spring of 2000 and has since become an energetic and effective fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymophona Society. Inspired by her efforts we decided to jump in and help out.
By supporting our endevour you will be donating to the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer.
We are excited to be running for a purpose.
