BENEFITING: STEEL CITY SPORTS WORLD
EVENT DATE: May 25, 2013
On May 25, 2013 Steel City Sports World, an organization whose mission is to improve the lives of young people from underserved communities in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas through sports and the media, is having an awards ceremony for the youth to celebrate how they are leading positive lives in their communities despite the numerous economic challenges they face. The awards banquet will take place at the Hossana House and will honor youth who have made numerous strides in the areas scholarship and sports. Journalist and Host of Pittsburgh Now, Chris Moore, will be the Master of Ceremonies.
The cost to attend the banquet is $35.
Changemakers, like you, are needed to support this cause. I am asking that each of you, sponsor a young person to attend to banquet. The goal is not only to raise funds to assist in promoting the mission of Steel City Sports World, but also, to bring in youth that need to see other youth doing positive activities, so that they know, that going to college, and staying out of trouble is “cool” too.
