I feel fortunate to be chosen to run the 2015 New York City Marathon and help raise money for a good cause. I learned about the mission of the John Ritter Foundation through my wife, Ellen, who works with Dr. Dianna Milewicz at the University of Texas.
I have also met the people who work at the John Ritter Research Program and I feel honored to support their work.
I started with biking and joined road races when I was 15.
After biking, I got into running; I ran the Brussels half marathon twice.
I moved to Houston and started training again in 2010 after I met my wife, who obviously has a very positive influence on me :-)
I ran several half marathons and the 2013 marathon of Houston.
Finishing the New York City Marathon is one of my personal goals; helping my wife raise awareness and support for research on aortic disease is even more incredible.
