What could be more challenging than running 160 miles in the Sahara Desert? I believe providing a donation to Endure to Cure to help children and their families battle cancer tackles this challenge.
ENDURE TO CURE is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Boston that helps children with cancer through Small Miracles & Travel for Treatment Assistance programs
In April 2015, I will run the Marathon de Sables, a 160 miles race through the Sahara Desert, in which runners carry with them all food and supplies necessary for the duration of the race. It is considered by many to be the world's most difficult race in which runners endure 120 degree heat, sand storms, and run between 26 and 60 miles a day. If you want to learn more about it go to: http://www.darbaroud.com/en/ I will be competing in this race in order to raise $4000 to help childrens & their families battle pediatric cancer.
100% of your tax-deductible contribution will go toward Endure to Cure Small Miracles & Travel for Treatment Assistance programs. None of your donations will go toward my personal race or transportation fees.
This is an incredible opportunity for you to contribute to a cause that will have a tangible and long lasting impact on the life of a child and its family battling cancer.
Running is usually an individual sport. But this will be a team effort.
