EVENT DATE: Oct 22, 2016
It's Time to Walk-N-Roll with my family to raise awareness and donations for those living with Spina Bifida. With the right care, babies born with Spina Bifida will grow up to reach their full potential.
My cousin Stephanie is one of the strongest people I know! She amazes me everyday with what she has accomplised and continues to. If you know me I don't ever ask for support or donations regarding any cause so PLEASE consider supporting our team!!
Spina Bifida is a neural tube defect that happens in the first month of pregnancy when the spinal column doesn’t close completely. It is the most common permanently disabling birth defect in the United States; however, the effects of Spina Bifida are different for every person. An estimated 166,000 people in the United States currently live with Spina Bifida. An average of eight (8) babies are born with Spina Bifida or a similar birth defect of the brain and spine each day.
If you haven't done so already, please consider making a donation to SBACFL. Every dollar raised goes towards helping with medical costs, education and outings just to name a few.
