THE STORY:

Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation wrote -

As a representative of Independent Carpet One Floor & Home, I am raising funds for both SSG Ben Eberle who is having a "smart home" built in Alpena, Michigan through the Building For America's Bravest Campaign. Over 200 soldiers are awaiting funding for a home for them and their families. To live a normal life for their family is important. and less stressful. Ben was injured on November 19, 2011 in Afghanistan when he stepped on an IED. The explosion resulted in the loss of both his legs and his right hand and he also suffered a severe right shoulder injury leaving him paralyzed in his right arm. Ben is married and has two young children Hally and Landis. My staff and I have a goal of raising over $5000. And I also plan on attending the Stephen Siller's Tunnel to Tower 5k in NYC in September of 2016 where additional funding will go to future homes. Ben and many other soldiers are hero's. Brave, strong and protecting our land, our rights and our families. Would you please consider donating to our cause?
