BENEFITING: The Hall STEPS Foundation
ORGANIZER: The Hall STEPS Foundation
My life has been blessed to say the least, and with my provision, I have been called to provide. I have been in constant search for ways to do this, and the Hall’s have provided me an opportunity to do so. The Hall Steps Foundation is a non-profit movement to fight global poverty through better health founded in late 2009 by professional runners Ryan and Sara Hall. The goal is to build a community and provide each member an opportunity to take their own STEPS toward relieving suffering and helping the poor rise out of poverty.
I have recently joined the 2012 Global Ambassador project in commitment to supporting The Hall Steps Foundation and the fight against global poverty. Recently, I completed the Lake Geneva Marathon and exceeded my fundraising goals which means more underprivaleged families benefitted. I have agreed to fundraise at the very least $1000 for the Chicago Marathon, and will continue to focus the year 2012 on marathons. I made a covenant with myself that I would not undertake another marathon, but the Hall Steps Foundation delivered purpose to return. Please help in any way you can, whether through a donation or even passing this on to someone you know that may want to help.
So far great Steps have been made to fight global poverty. Together we can all take small Steps to make a large impact. You can help out by supporting me here while I am out there running miles and talking to people about the Steps we can all take to make a difference. Check out the website for some more information.
