THE STORY:

First Annual Push Ups for Charity Benefiting The Boot Campaign Hosted By the 101st Airborne MilSim Paintball Team

Freedom ain’t free and those who protect us sometimes need extra help - so let’s help our American warriors by showing them some strength and love at ION 2016.

At 4 PM Friday July 8th meet up at the main stage and do pushups to support the Boot Campaign, a charity dedicated to helping our veterans cope with PTSD, Substance Abuse, and other issues veterans face on a daily basis.

Three ways to help, have fun and win prizes:

Most Push Ups in 90 seconds: Drop and give us as much as you can! The warrior who does the most pushups wins prizes from our sponsors. $5.00 entry. Can we get an Ooh Rah!

That’s my horse: Support a push up buddy and donate what you can for each push up. Be like a drill instructor and stand over your warrior while motivating them to do as many pushups as they can. $1.00 a push up? .75 a push up? Whatever your wallet can afford. The more pushups your horse does, the more you donate and support a great cause!

Support and Cheer on the Troopers: Get in on the fun and holler your support! Donate what you can and get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a hand printed silver gelatin print of Omaha Beach-Dog Green Sector from David Brommer’s acclaimed Battlefield Cant project.

This event is hosted by the 101st Airborne MilSim Paintball Team, but is open to all players and attendees of ION 2016. Show your support, build a push up squad, and make a difference!
