I will be participating in a 5K run that directly supports the construction of the brand new handicapped accessible baseball field being built for the Miracle League of Massachusetts.
Any donations are greatly appreciated.
The Miracle League of Massachusetts is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that provides all children with the opportunity to play baseball in an organized non-competitive league at no cost to their family. Our players are children aged 5 to 18 with a physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioral disability that keeps them from playing in a mainstream league. Miracle League team members are assigned buddies, primarily mainstream peers who have volunteered to assist them with the game. As a result, the Miracle League builds self-esteem, fosters friendships that bridge the gap between those with special needs and those without and creates a community where the families of players and buddies can relax together while proudly watching their children.
