EVENT DATE: Aug 01, 2015
Hey Everyone! I’ve decided to ride in the Pan Mass Challenge to raise money to help the fight against cancer. Too many of us know people whose lives have been permanently changed due to this terrible disease and it’s time we did something about it! I decided to ride after seeing how cancer has affected loved ones around me. My grandmother, my aunt, a woman I consider my third grandmother and some close friends have all had to battle this terrible disease. It is their strength and determination that inspired me to take up the torch and do all I can to help find a cure. On August 1st and 2nd I will be riding 165 miles with Team LUNGSTRONG from Babson College down to the tip of Cape Cod. The Pan Mass Challenge is the largest single athletic fundraiser in the country and 100% of all rider raised money is donated to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute thorough the Jimmy Fund. Since its start in 1980 the PMC has contributed $455 million to cancer research. My goal is to raise $4,500, 100% of which will go directly to life-saving cancer research, but I can’t do it alone. Please consider supporting my ride! I've been training hard and so far I've ridden over 500 miles since the beginning of May. Only 1124 more miles to go before crossing that starting line on August 1! Thank you for your support!
