Our Mission

Sigma Tau Gamma is experiencing unprecedented growth with new chapters at Auburn, Oklahoma State, Alabama and Purdue. The key to maintaining this growth is ensuring our undergraduate leaders continue to receive scholarships and grants for training produced by Sigma Tau Gamma. Now you can do your part by contributing to your Chapter’s Endowment and ensure your chapter is prepared for the next generation.

Will You Become 1 of the 1,400?

What is Project LEADERSHIP?
Perhaps the number one benefit afforded undergraduate members of Sigma Tau Gamma is the opportunity to develop as a leader through world class programs offered by the Fraternity.

That is why the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation is launching an ambitious campaign to double the number of annual donors to the Foundation to 1,400 with a goal to raise $250,000.  This effort will make a significant difference in our efforts to deliver proven and successful undergraduate leadership programs.

How Will the Proceeds Be Used?
The proceeds from this campaign will support best in class undergraduate leadership development programs including:

*Membership Recruitment workshops delivered by professional trainers - Regional programs for five years ($125,000)

*Leadership Grants for individual members to attend regional/national meetings via Chapter Endowments - Two brothers x 60 chapters x $100 grant = $60,000 (five years)

*Provide increased funding for chapter presidents to attend the "Webb Academy" - 60 presidents $60,000 (five years)

Who Will Manage the Proceeds?
The Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation Inc., an educational foundation qualified under IRS section 501(c)(3), operating since 1966 and governed by an elected board of 18 alumni donors will oversee the collection, investment, and distribution of donated funds. Gifts to your Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation are tax deductible.

What's the Role of My Chapter's Alumni Association?
Foundation policy facilitates the active involvement of chapter alumni association officers with the direction of scholarships and grants.

If your chapter does not have an active alumni association, a committee of dedicated Foundation Trustees will direct scholarships and grants for your chapter.  If your college chapter is not active, your gifts may support undergraduate leadership development in chapters with the greatest need.

The Foundation Trustees are committed to the support and development of active alumni associations.  Please contact the Sigma Tau Gamma headquarters to access guidance and support.

Why Brothers Support Project Leadership
"Our lifes are richer because of Sigma Tau Gamma, so we should ensure that other young men have the same experiences that we did.  We learned lessons on dealing with others, and developed academic and leadership skills.  We have an obligation to pay all that forward." - 37th National President Tom Morgan, CMF Phi '85

"The benefits that I have received from Sig Tau have molded me into the man that I am today.  I am very proud of who I have become, and I can correlate this in large part due to my fraternity.  By donating to Project Leadership, I feel that I can help other future Sig Tau's to receive the same benefits!" - Chase Nichols, CSM, Delta '14

"I am the man I am today because of Sigma Tau Gamma.  I have received so much more from my fraternal experience than I had expected.  In this respect I will continue to contribute and give back to Sigma Tau Gamma any way I can in order to help others achieve the same experience." - Lee Tabor, WCMF, Epsilon Mu '05
